Blog Archive Monday Morning Essay Tip What Is Your Deal (Multidimensional Brainstorming, Part 2) Many candidatesâ€"whether they are working as bankers or  lawyers, in internal corporate finance or corporate strategyâ€"feel it necessary to tell a “deal story.” Although discussing a deal can be a good idea, showing your distinct impact on the deal is what is vitalâ€"remember that you, not the deal,  are the central character. As we have discussed before (Monday Morning Essay Tip: Conflict Is Good), a straightforward story outlining how you dutifully completed your work and steadily supported  others as a deal became a reality is not likely to be interesting. Further, it is important that the admissions committee experience your personality, not your spreadsheets. Ask yourself some of these questions to ensure that your story is truly about you: What did you do that was beyond expectations for your role? Did you grow into additional responsibilities at a crucial time? Did any particular interactions take place in which you used your personality to change the dynamic, thereby ensuring the deal’s progress or success? Did you need to take a principled stand at any moment or speak out on behalf of a needful party? Did you help others overcome any corporate or international cultural barriers? These are just a few questions to get you started, but the point remains: do not simply offer any deal, but instead provide insight  into your deal. Share ThisTweet Monday Morning Essay Tips

We see mechanical elements in The Beautiful Girl such as the tire, machine handle, BMW logos, industrial bench, and watch. Question: An explanation of how your problem statement incorporates implications for positive social change. As students at Walden, you are preparing to become agents of social change. Based on your leadership topic, the research you just did, and the gaps you found, how would you be a social agent for change? Answer: Introduction Literature review will discuss the published and peer-reviewed articles and journals on the health care administrative leadership. This literature review will explains relevant and authenticate information regarding the provided subject. Leadership plays an important role in the healthcare administration as it helps to appreciate and understand the basic and complex characteristic of the health and social care sector. According to Best et al., (2012), there is a multi-disciplinary programme, which creates a perfect learning environment for promoting a complete synergy within the existing leaders of healthcare administration. The leadership skills in healthcare involve experiential and theoretical opportunities with the proper equipments of regional leaders of health care. Common trends in health care administrative leadership There are constant transformation in the healthcare industries and the leadership skills and knowledge help to increase the operations and activities of the health and social care sectors in appropriate manner. The marketplace, the constant increments in the complexity of healthcare profession and the certain challenges suggests that there are requirements of leadership skills and knowledge in order to deal with the encountered challenges. As opposed by Laschinger et al., (2012), the leadership in healthcare always supports the personal and professional growth, which are highly required in the field of healthcare for the leaders. The changing figures and facts reveal the fact that the trends of healthcare administration are constantly changing with the demand and criteria of the health care service users. The proliferation of completely new technology is gradually exploding in health and social care sector in this contemporary era. There are incorporation of wearable tracking devices , which can monitor, evaluate and assess the sleep patterns, physical activities and the calorie consumption. Even most of the healthcare organisations in Australia employ patient centred care, which completely transform the approach of the healthcare industry. Wong Laschinger (2013) have contradicted that all of these contemporary changes and trends in healthcare organisation are developed to establish effective goals and objectives for patient satisfaction engagement and scores. The leadership skills and knowledge in the healthcare administration will help the management and the higher authority of health and social care sectors to cope up with the contemporary changes, which are incorporated only because to provide the health care service users a better healthcare experiences. Another contemporary trend in healthcare organisations involves data security services, which maintains relevant and authenticates data of every care service users for future use. Garca-Morales et al., (20 12) have mentioned that the leaders of healthcare administration thoroughly use the modern technologies in order to get a clear and transparent view and idea about these above mentioned process operation in the health and social care services. The behaviour and the attitude of healthcare leaders have changed with the implication of modern technologies as it keeps the productivity, activities up and cost down for the better future of the healthcare organisation and the health of consumers. Cresswell Sheikh (2013) have argued the above statement and has mentioned that leadership plays a significant role in the success of every organisation. A potential leadership has the capabilities to influence and motivate every employees of the healthcare in order to perform own assigned tasks in proper manner for providing the care service users an appropriate experience of healthcare services. Need of leadership in healthcare According to Laschinger et al., (2013), as leadership has the potentiality to solve any kind of problems within the organisation for satisfying and achieving the established goal and objectives of healthcare organisation, therefore leadership is required in this particular sector. The basic aspects of the healthcare administrative leadership roles and responsibilities involve motivating every associates and groups of the healthcare organisation in order to help them to cope up with the transformation. There are various published researches, which suggests the effective initiatives that are closely interlinked with the developments in healthcare organisations for providing potential patient care in the health and social care setting. There are various kinds of leadership generally followed within the healthcare organisation such as, collaborative, shared, distributed and ethical leadership (Whitley et al., 2015). With the proper leadership capabilities, the healthcare administrators c an deal the encountered potential challenges such as transforming and diverse requirements, enhancing patient expectations, new treatments and new inventions in the field of healthcare in gradual process. It also helps the administrators to take effective decisions regarding the condition of the patients when required and to deliver proper clinical quality with developed service quality. Theories on healthcare administrative leadership Transformational leadership theory clearly explains and elaborates the actions of the directors and supervisors of the healthcare organisation. Even Blumenthal et al., (2012) have stated that the midlevel and senior associates are required the knowledge of this theory in order to understand the healthcare management practices in proper manner. Transformational leadership theory suggests evidence oriented management for accomplishing the required changes within the healthcare organisations for creating a safe environment for the healthcare professionals enhances the patient safety. As opined by Al-Sawai (2013), transformational leadership plays the role of essential precursor for any kind of change initiatives that may completely transform the image and concept of tradition healthcare organisation. It is an important fact to note here that transformational leadership theory is not only restricted to the government healthcare organisation, however, to the private healthcare organisatio n. Transformational leadership theory can define the roles and responsibilities of directors, supervisors and board-level chairperson of healthcare organisation. Situational leadership theory clearly defines the contingency theory of leadership, which provides a perfect framework for allowing the healthcare leaders for matching their type of leadership styles. The application of situational leadership theory reveals an appropriate demonstration, which can be tracked by the higher management of the healthcare organisation. According to this situational leadership theory, the leaders of the healthcare organisation should have the capabilities to adapt the leadership style, which are related to their specific organisation. Situational theory also suggests that current skills, knowledge, professional development should be enhanced for providing better care services to the patients than the previous time. Rabarison et al., (2013) have mentioned that situational leadership needs the leaders to be perfectly aware regarding the perceptions of the followers. However, there are two basic behavioural categories of situational leadership theory including relational and task behaviour. There some contradictions regarding the impact of situational leadership theory as it creates a suitable balance in between socio-emotional support, guidance and direction and the readiness of the level of followers that is responsible to exhibit a particular task (Whitley et al., 2015). Problem statement Healthcare management clearly elaborates the general management concept, administration of hospital networks, public health systems and health care systems and leadership plays an important role for improving the care services. However, there are hardly any theories, which can develop the fact of importance of leadership in healthcare administration. Even there is a lack of sharing common vision within the healthcare professionals and practitioners, which is obviously a matter of poor leadership within the healthcare organisation. Because of these kinds of leadership problems the staffs, nurses, doctors and assistants of healthcare organisations encounter a serious problem. The drawbacks and flaws of leadership style and skill within the healthcare organisation may influence the entre functions and activities of it. The management can arrange training procedures for the leaders of the healthcare organisation in order to provide them an appropriate training to enhance their own leader ship skill and style. Leadership quality cannot be achieved or learned with education process; however, it can be enhanced with suitable training process. Various cases, models and theories have motivated the contemporary leadership strategies in healthcare organisation. References Al-Sawai, A. (2013).
